Working in social care is awesome, we are biased of course, but giving back to the most vulnerable category of people in the UK, Looked After Children, is incredibly rewarding.
On average there is 1.48 million people that currently work in the social care sector. Because of the increasing number of children and young people needing additional support, the sector is growing, this means the sector needs at least another half a million jobs, and caring people to do them.
