Our dedicated, experienced and qualified team provides daily support, therapeutic care, direct work sessions and work tirelessly to provide the highest level of care possible to our young people.
We also work together with a team of therapists and counsellors to enable us to form an understanding of the internal world of our young people using state of mind assessments.
These assessments become the foundation for planning, sourcing and providing the required therapy that meets the individual need of each young person.
Our therapists and counsellors provide a range of services including, assessments, psychotherapy, observational studies, play, music and drama therapy, psychodynamic counselling, meditation, humanistic counselling, equine and animal therapy and liaison with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and other agencies.
Our therapists and counsellors are highly experienced and qualified. Alongside their work with our young people, they also support our teams with regular group supervisions and clinical services. This allows them to provide their expertise and knowledge to enable reflective work to be conducted by our staff team, ensuring consistency in therapeutic care. They also offer guidance to make sure that the individual plans and goals for our young people are being met.
We also consult with other specialist services to provide support as required.
All our staff are trained in PACE (Dr Daniel Hughes) and use this model to therapeutically parent all young people who reside in any CSfC home.
