Calcot Services for Children is proud have specialist learning disability homes.
Florence House & Forestview specialise in care for young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities. The staff team are highly skilled in meeting the needs of young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The staff use therapeutic approaches and arrange of communication strategies to support young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Disability does not stop a child from having a full and enjoyable life. The aim of Calcot Services for Children is to help children and young people with learning disabilities to have lives that are as enjoyable and fulfilling as those of other children and young people. Through access to education, leisure activities, social opportunities and work experience, alongside nurturing therapeutic care our young people make excellent progress.
As with all our existing homes, Florence House and Forestview aim to provide a stable and long term home to all our young people.
