Laurus House and Southeo is a large 7 bedroom residential home specialising in supporting and caring for young people with learning disabilities, Autism and associated needs. The staff team are highly skilled in meeting the needs of young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, managing difficult challenging behaviour and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
The home is fully equipped with multi-sensory room for the purpose of helping individuals of all ages who suffer from various sensory disabilities. The room can also be used to offer a number of additional therapeutic benefits such as relaxation.
Florence house is a large 7 bedroom home specialising in care for young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities. The staff team are highly skilled in meeting the needs of young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours. The staff use therapeutic approaches and arrange of communication strategies to support young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Disability does not stop a child from having a full and enjoyable life. The aim of Calcot Services for Children is to help children and young people with learning disabilities to have lives that are as enjoyable and fulfilling as those of other children and young people. Through access to education, leisure activities, social opportunities and work experience, alongside nurturing therapeutic care our young people make excellent progress.
As with all our existing homes Laurus House, Florence House and Woodside Farm aim to provide a stable and long term home to all our young people.
