Please see link to guidance – COVID-19
We have continued to work hard to ensure that the risks of Covid 19 remain as low as possible throughout this time. Alongside the PPE and risk and response plans for all homes, the Human Resources team have worked closely with the Registered Managers of all homes to support the management of all staff sickness and ensure access to testing has been made available to all staff and their immediate family members. To date we have had no reported cases of Covid 19, and the staff teams remain committed to a safe and sensible approach to the management of the lockdown restrictions – both at work and in their personal lives.
After the lifting of some restrictions, and the guidance by the government to return to work if you possibly can, the CSfC office has planned for this transition for safe operation of the office environment and for all office staff. There are allocated work stations, strict hygiene routines and health monitoring of all staff and visitors to the office to ensure risk is well managed and social distancing is observed throughout the working day.
Our staff in our homes have remained committed and dedicated to caring for young people throughout the pandemic and have been first class frontline workers caring for vulnerable people alongside other key workers in the community.
Training has continued via virtual platforms and this is proving effective for all teams, keeping training compliant to regulations and our team skills at the highest standard. Likewise, recruitment of staff has continued using virtual platforms and this has been effective in ensuring that homes are well staffed and high standards of care continue for all our young people.
CSfC are following government advice and guidelines to ensure the risks are well managed for all staff and young people. The lead contacts at this time are :
