Calcot Services for Children are delighted to confirm the official registration of The Mile House Therapeutic School, following a glowing Ofsted report.
‘Leaders demonstrate a shared and well-developed vision for the education they intend the school to provide. They tread a careful path between their high academic aspirations for pupils and the need to meet pupils’ wider social and emotional needs. Their planned curriculum has been developed with both of these elements firmly in mind.’ – Ofsted
The Mile House is a therapeutic school for children aged 11 – 16 years old. The school has large, spacious classrooms, flexible art and creative spaces, and extensive grounds. Mrs Tibbles, the headteacher, has expressed that the pupils at The Mile House will take lead in their education, putting an emphasis on ‘project based learning’.
‘The headteacher and deputy headteacher bring relevant expertise and experience to their roles. By working alongside other leaders within the proprietor body and its other schools, they are developing their understanding of aspects that are unique to independent schools. They share a clear commitment to the school’s ethos and the pupils it intends to serve.’ – Ofsted
The team has worked diligently to put everything in place for a seamless school opening in September. We are so proud of this incredible addition to CSfC services.
