Basingstoke MP Maria Miller was pleased to visit Laurus House in Basingstoke, which is to open as a new residential home to support children and young people with learning disabilities.
Maria was welcomed to Laurus House by Natalie Boothroyd who manages the specialist learning disability home and was shown around the house which includes a fully equipped multi-sensory room.
Maria said “I welcome this new specialist residential home here in Basingstoke. I was very pleased to visit Laurus House and hear about the care and support that the children who live here will receive, and the aim of providing them with a stable and long term home”
